The ground
rules.
These terms cover your use of SpikSpak, including the website, the web app and the mobile app. By using SpikSpak, you agree to them.
The short version
- SpikSpak is in private beta. Things will change, and sometimes they'll break.
- Your trips are yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people you invite.
- Be decent to your crew and don't misuse the service.
- Booking isn't live yet. When it is, bookings are with the airline or provider, on their terms.
The beta
SpikSpak is an early product. Features may change, pause or disappear, and we can't promise the service will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything critical, such as tickets and booking confirmations. Everything is free during the private beta. If paid plans arrive, we'll show the price before you pay anything, and nobody is charged without choosing a paid plan.
Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You need to be at least 13 to use SpikSpak, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Your content
You own what you add: trips, notes, lists and files. You give SpikSpak permission to store, process and show it so the service works, for example syncing a trip to everyone you've invited. Only add content you have the right to share. Don't upload anything illegal, harmful or someone else's private information without their permission.
Fair use
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
- Don't use SpikSpak to send spam or to harass anyone.
- Don't scrape the service or resell access to it.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Bookings and third parties
Flight and stay search is provided by Duffel and the airlines and properties it connects to. Booking isn't live during the beta. When it is, your contract will be with the airline or provider, and their fare rules, fees and cancellation policies will apply. Rides and directions open in Uber, Lyft, Google Maps or Apple Maps under their own terms. Maps and place details come from third parties and may not always be accurate. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Liability
SpikSpak is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as a missed flight or a non-refundable booking, that come from using the service or from it being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Ending things
You can stop using SpikSpak at any time, and ask us to delete your account at hello@spikspak.com. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give account holders notice and a way to export their trips.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the product grows. If a change matters, we'll tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
